We are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and have conforming inspection protocols in place. The processes in place are compliant with stringent inspection documentation standards commonly used in critical systems and medical device manufacturing.
Yes, either in person or remote.
Typical lead times are 3-4 weeks on parts orders and 4-6 weeks for new tooling builds and 1-2 weeks for iterations. Complex projects or hard to obtain materials such as high conductivity copper can take 12-18 weeks from build until shipping.
We have documented processes in place for non-conforming materials found at all stages of the production cycle. Multiple checks are in place with contingency plans in place to minimize down time risk and eliminate non-conforming shipments. We rely on digital measurement systems to confirm manually taken measurements prior to any shipment or production approval. Ask to see our quality manual for exact details.
Per our quality standards of operation, all inbound materials are given a Zakobe identifying tag upon arrival and compared against order notes. After proper labeling it has job documents which accompany the production process identifying process controls and proper job setup and production. All documents are reviewed and approved by our in house engineering staff for accuracy and reliability in production.
Both! We have full, in-house die design and build capabilities and a range of stamping presses for production runs. We manufacture most components for our stamping dies in house.
Yes! Most of our new die builds are progressive.
We have the most experience working with nickel, steel and copper. We have experience in a wide range of other material types. Our primary limiting factor is part thickness 0.001"-0.500" is a good range for us.
