Information Required to Quote Accurately
To generate an accurate quote, Zakobe requires:
- Part print or CAD file
- Material type and specification
- Annual and release quantities
- Required lead time
- Prototype or production designation
- Any special requirements (cleanliness, packaging, plating, marking)
Incomplete RFQs delay response time. Clear inputs produce faster, tighter quotes.
RFQ Submission Format
- Email submission is preferred
- No fixed template required
- Multiple part numbers may be submitted together
Zakobe will request clarification if required — not guess.
Quoting Response Time
Typical response times:
- 1–3 business days for common materials and repeat geometries
- 1–2 weeks for uncommon materials or complex tooling
- 4–5 weeks for mill-run material orders
Zakobe does not source material from China or India.
NDA Process
- NDA signature turnaround: within 1 business day
- Authorized signatory: Zakobe management
- Customer NDAs are reviewed and returned promptly to avoid RFQ delays

Zakobe may not be the right supplier when:
- The part is already in high-volume offshore production

- Long-term material availability cannot be secured
